Why Community Engagement matters to CSO Contracts

Trust CSO Contracts for the highest standard of facilities management

Our commitment to the community is as strong as our reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality facilities management. We understand that true success isn’t just measured in completed projects but in the positive, lasting impact we create for the people and places around us.

We’re proud to highlight two meaningful community partnerships: our new sponsorship of Shorts Football Club, and our ongoing support for EastSide Partnership, an organisation at the heart of regeneration in East Belfast.

Backing local sport: Main Kit Sponsor for Shorts FC

We are delighted to announce that CSO Contracts is now the main kit sponsor for Shorts FC’s senior men’s team for the upcoming season. This sponsorship is a heartfelt investment in grassroots sport, health, and community development.

For our Founder and Director, Stephen Jackson, this partnership is deeply personal. Reflecting on his connection to the club, Stephen shared:

“I started playing for this club at the age of 10, and it’s been my home ever since. Shorts FC stands for everything good, not just in East Belfast, but in the Belfast that I know and love: inclusive, supportive, and full of fun. People make any club, and this isn’t about CSO Contracts. It’s about thanking the people who helped shape me and remembering those who are no longer with us. We sadly lost our dear friend, David Gibson, so this one’s for you.”

This partnership honours that spirit and celebrates the resilience that defines Shorts FC. We’re proud to support a club that brings people together, nurtures local talent, and creates a sense of belonging for so many in the community.

Supporting EastSide Partnership

Alongside sports, we continue our valued support of EastSide Partnership, a charity working to regenerate and revitalise East Belfast. The partnership works alongside community-based organisations, elected representatives, statutory agencies and local businesses to deliver a wide variety of projects seeking to benefit residents, visitors and our neighbouring communities. Their newly launched Strategic Framework 2025–2030 outlines an ambitious roadmap focused on:

  • Promoting environmental sustainability through enhanced greenways and open spaces

  • Encouraging cultural engagement and the arts

  • Supporting local education and skills development

  • Building stronger, more connected communities

Stephen Jackson sits on the board of the EastSide Partnership and works closely with fellow board members and the wider community to ensure East Belfast continues to prosper for many years to come.

Looking Ahead

As CSO Contracts continues to grow as a company, we remain anchored in the belief that business and community go hand in hand. We’re proud to stand alongside local partners who are making a difference, and we’re excited to see what’s next, both on and off the pitch.
